Parking

All vehicles entering the site are required to pay a £5 access fee to the Marston Lodge estate. Payment will be taken on arrival. A proportion of this fee will be donated to the local air ambulance service. This applies to anyone and everyone attending the event in a vehicle - whether you are a rider, a supporter, or just coming along for the day. Please car share where possible - it's good for the environment and saves you a few quid.

To speed things up we would request that you arrive with the correct change to hand, although card payment will be available.
Camping

The camping areas are all close to the Main Arena. Camping is only available for the night of Saturday 18th June 2022 and is included in your entry fee.
Campsite pitches are available on a first come, first served basis. Please be considerate to others and do not go 'land-grabbing' and tape off unnecessarily large areas.

Once the race is underway traffic movement is to be strictly limited so if you think that you might need to leave the site please park in the day parking area once you have set up camp.

All visitors must leave no later than midday on Sunday 19th June 2022.

Please note, no private generators are permitted at Mountain Mayhem®.
The Race

It's pretty simple - complete as many laps of the course as you can within the time limit. Any laps started within the alloted 6hrs (between 12.00pm & 6.00pm) can be completed and will count towards the results.
There's categories for solo riders and pairs. For more info check out the Race Rule & Regulation page.

The course at Marston Lodge is pretty ace for this kind of race too. Plenty enough features to keep you on your toes for the duration, and more than enough elevation to test your fitness lap after lap. For more info on the course click on over to the Race Route page.
The Afterparty

Mountain Mayhem has always been about more than just the race. It's about the riders, the helpers, the hecklers and the friends catching up. In the spirit of Mayhem that's what our afterparty is all about.
Once the racing is over all riders will be awarded with a commemorative finisher's medal to acknowledge their efforts, handed a refreshing and tasty finisher's beer to quench their thirst, and also a token for some post-race nosh to replenish their energy stores at our afterparty.

We'd encourage everyone to stay the night to kick back, enjoy the entertainment, reminisce about Mayhems past and start looking forward to next year's silver anniversary Mayhem.
